About GA-NATP

We are the Georgia Chapter of The National Association of Tax Professionals. NATP was founded in 1979 as a nonprofit professional association dedicated to excellence in taxation. NATP serves professionals who work in all areas of tax practice. Members include individual practitioners, enrolled agents, accountants, CPA’s, attorneys, and financial planners.

The Georgia Chapter of NATP was formed August 20, 1994 as the local branch of the National Organization. Membership in NATP also provides you with membership in the local chapter. Membership benefits include access to NATP’s Tax Research Center where our expert staff annually answer more than 40,000 federal tax questions from tax professionals. State Assistance Volunteers are also available to assist fellow members with state taxation questions. The Georgia Chapter hosts the Annual Fall Conference Education event each September in Dillard, GA.

One of the most important benefits of membership is access to our continuing professional education for tax professionals. NATP presents more than 300 workshops each year on topics that include partnerships, corporations, estates and trusts. NATP also sponsors the EA Exam Review Course and more than 100 Fall 1040 Workshops.
